In DREAM Vibro-Meter SA will provide:

Very high accuracy measurement technology for evaluation and validation of turbine tip clearance measurement methodology and instrumentation for a closed loop active control system:

The sensors have to have high durability in the engine atmosphere with high pressures and temperatures.
In a first part of the task a sensor will be tested and improved in a laboratory accuracy survey.
In a second step the sensor will be modified to fit in the engine casing.
In the following task the measurement technology is planned to be tested and validated in the overall closed loop turbine clearance control system on a gas turbine engine.
