ISVR and DREAM

The ISVR will develop a model and seek to understand the broadband noise generated by contra rotating fans

The ISVR has a long history of research into fan noise and noise from turbofan engines. The ISVR works closely with Rolls-Royce and has a long history of participation in European projects

The ISVR will benefit from the DREAM project by its association with other European experts, particularly related to aerodynamic design and performance. The access to new acoustic and aerodynamic data is also particularly valuable in order to refine and validate its noie prediction models.
